    Hi Henk
    Margaret Laidlaw,19,registered at Southport, Lancashire
Robinson,19, registered at Chester, the County Town of Cheshire
Rock, 19, registered at Chichester, Sussex
Rudston,25, registered at Howdenshire, E Yorkshire
Grindrod,21, registered at Chippenham, Wiltshire, the right area for an incident at Yatton Keynell, ?Master T 8848
I found a Robert Rae,32(same age as CWGC) but registered in Newcastle on Tyne, Northumberland. His unit was in Glasgow, he came from Lanark in Scotland and is buried in Scotland so it is likely to be coincidence.
I also found a Hayden K R Jex,21, registered at Oakham, then in Rutland, but it was in the 4th Qtr of 1942 and this is rather a long delay for the registration, although it might be that his death needed some investigation as to cause. CWGC has him buried at Cottesmore which was also in Rutland
    Regards
    Dick

Henk, I have Oxford BG637 as colliding with Oxford BG634 after it swung on landing at Acaster Malbis. The pilot, dispite not having his name, was "safe".

Thus none of your named are connected. regards Rich

AC1 W GRINROD is listed DOAS in flight 24th Sep 42, they have a letter missing.

There is a 64 year old Robert Rae in Scotland so it may be the man Dick found.

No sign of Rae in the Flight magazines.

HENDERSON is listed as 24th JUNE on CWGC? Death registered in Chipping N district.

Henderson's death is registered in the Third Quarter of 1942, Jul-Aug-Sep. 24th June would not be late enough in the month to delay his registration but maybe there was a delay. CWGC might have him wrong, best solution is his service file.

And his grave on the VAC memorial site is also July 24th. I'll try another email to the CWGC.

Bugger! I only just seen you mailed them also Henk.

    Thanks Dennis & Malcolm.
Dennis: My CWGC mail was bounced; please could you inform them, perhaps better in understandable English rather than what I "try to produce". Thanks in advance and please keep me informed.
    Regards,
    Henk.

936 Squadron was based in newcastle-upon-Tyne during the period? Perhaps a typo/error in Rae's unit listing. 936 instead of 946.
