    Hi

I know about P/O Riley (RM711) and F/Lt Walmsley. Are you sure about 24th?

    Hi Peter,

    Many thanks for reply.

I have not been able to find back which was the source of my information and therefore it is not possible to confirm the date.

    Best regards

    Default RM711 Spitfire 24/12/1944 130 Squadron

    Hello,

    22nd December 1944
P/O. F. Riley hit by AA injured and baled (cannot remember where ref is for 'baled') from RM711.
Yet a/c reported as force landed (AB PA100-RZ999), assumes under control of a pilot (FCL vol 3 has Flak fire caused forced-landing in allied lines; a/c damaged) ?

And F/Lt. H. Walmsley safe a/c (serial ?) hit by Allied AA also baled.

    24th December 1944
RM690 Hit by flak and abandoned near Malmedy. But with 350 Sqn S/Ldr L. Collignon injured no longer a 130Sqn a/c?

    Hello ,

Perhaps some more on RM690 , S/L Collignon Leopold 156300 bailed out to low and broke at leg, he flew no more operations during the war. Retired as a Lt-Col in the Belgian Airfoirce ( 11/12/1910 - 11/09/1995 )
