    Default Loss SOE 161 Sqn Halifax LL358 8-9 August 1944

    Dear all,

    Who can supply me with any information about the cause of loss of 161 Squadron Halifax LL358, that was lost on an SOE op. and crashed at Cugny on 8-9 August 1944?

    Any info very welcome!

    As a slight diversion, you may be interested to know that a Monument to Special Operations Executive Agents will be unveiled at a ceremony at 14.00hrs on Sunday 4 October. The monument is sited on the Albert Embankment, near to Lambeth Palace.
