There is a photo online at the National Archives website of staff from this school with the "published" location of the photo given as Crickfield, Sussex, England.

There are several other references to text material about this Hospital, but none with a location stated so far. The documents date from 1943 to 1945. The disbandment order is on Microfilm T-20314, which covers June to September 1945.

Just found one text reference that lists "Cuckfield" in 1943, maybe a typo for Crickfield (or vice versa)? It appears that there was also a No. 13 Canadian General Hospital during the previous Great Unpleasantness, at Hastings in 1917.

Try the Taplow/Maidenhead area for a Canadian War Memorial Hospital. There was another just N, or NW, of Reading - near Peppard. Sorry, no numbers, but you might find some links

    Thanks Bill

Cuckfield it is. It seems it was taken over by the Canadians at some point because I have references to Cuckfield EMS earlier in the war in my files

    Cheers
