    Default Unaccounted airmen - 24-8-1942

    What were the places of death registration for:

    A - Died on active service:
    LAC Herbert J. HODGSON - 1113108.

    B - Killed on active service:
    Sgt (Pilot) Trevor A. TATE - 1023722.

    C - Proposed aircraft losses:
    Spitfire IIB - P8527 - 53 OTU - dived into ground 1 mile SE of Pontypool Road, Glamorgan.
    Tiger Moth II - T7115 - 4 EFTS - flew into ground Moors Farm, Crowle, Lincolnshire.
    Tiger Moth II - DE348 - 652 Sqn - spun into ground Suffolk.

    Tate,20 registered at Pontypool, Glamorgan. It night make him a candidate for Spitfire P8527
