    Interesting article, though I see from the CWGC he is listed as being with No.547 Sqn at the time of his death. Stationed at Leuchars with Liberators.

    Hi,

    Yes a crewman on EW305 shot down off Bornholm.

    Sgt Cottinghams body was recovered on the 20th and taken to Whalsay, Shetland before internment at Redcar.
