Default more terminology on service records

Back on my late fathers service records. I'm trying to translate

    RDU B'pool 20/8/41
    10(S)RB H 23/11/41
    2(0) AFU 24/5/43

I know he did his early training at Blackpool, and he went on to be a wireless operator in 35 squadron pathfinders at Graveley.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Paul.

    hello Paul

The easy one is (Observer) Advanced Flying Unit. In 1943 was at Millom. During 1943 standardised on Ansons, Defiants were withdrawn in february and Lysanders in December.

No idea for RDU : Are you sure of the writing ? B'pool for Blackpool. A Recruiting Center ?

    (S) should logically stand for Signals, as he became a wireless operator.
