    Default F/Sgt G O Clements, died 16th September 1942

Hello all, can anyone shed any light on the death of F/Sgt George Olaf Clements (529445), RAFVR. His death was registered in Ludlow. I couldn't find him in the Times casualty list to see if he 'died' or 'killed' on active service.

    Cheers, Tom

    Tom,
It looks like he died of an illness or natural causes. He is listed as Died on Active Service on Air Ministry Casualty List No 184, issued on 16th Dec 1942. Surname quoted as CLEMENT.
    Doug.

Thanks for that Doug, i thought it would be. I was wondering whether he may have had something to do with the Air Crew Camp at Ludlow? His next of kin are noted as being from Middlesex and south Shropshire's a long way from there! I'll have to try and find out what unit he was serving with...

    Thanks for the help, Tom
