Silverwood, 37, registered at Fylde, Lancashire

Silverwood fell from a window in Dickson Road, Blackpool onto the pavement and died of severe head injuries. Inquest determined he probably died whilst sleepwalking.

There are a number of Robert Duncan's in Scotland but only one recorded as age 42, Kirkcaldy district, Fife.
There is also a 41 yr old registered else where for example.

No sign of Thornhill in Scotland as far as I can see.

    Hello

LAC Albert HOOD - 1506954 - the Coventry Evening Telegrpah of October 7th 1942 reported the following:

    AIRCRAFTMAN'S DEATH
An appeal for witnesses of a fatal accident involving a young member of the R.A.F. was made by the Coroner (Mr. C. W. Iliffe) at the inquest, yesterday afternoon, on L.A.C. Albert Hood (23), son of Samuel Joseph Hood, of 7, St. Michael's Road, Coventry, who, while riding a motor cycle at the junction of Copperfield Road and Holmfield Road, at 5.45 p.m., was in collision with a cyclist, and died on October 3 from a fracture of the skull.

W/O Robert DUNCAN - 336325 - the National Probate Calendar has the following:

DUNCAN Robert Duff of Greenhill Villa, Alveston, Gloucestershire, died 3 October 1942 at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, Fifeshire.

The marriage register of West Acton, Middlesex, confirms his middle name, and his wife's name, and gives the date of his marriage as November 12th 1924, and his age as 26. He is listed as being a Corporal at R.A.F Depot, Uxbridge, at that time.

    Regards

    Simon
