    For what it is worth, it would appear that as Flt Sgt Crowther is in a separate grave, he may have baled out, but too low to survive.
    It may be possible to obtain Sgt Pools records from the RCAF (especially if you locate a relative) which might provide more information.
    I'm sure there is a Squadron History and probably a historian who may have photos of the crew or aircraft. Perhaps a bit of Googling will turn up more, sometimes on other forums.... if so, please let us know as it will save people wasting time collecting the same information.

    My Wife is the sister of Flying Officer J. E. A. (Alec) Pyle, Pilot of the fated Lancaster. I have quite a lot of information on the operational duties of the crew and also of the graves at Bergan-Op-Zoom. I have only scant information of the crash site at Over Flakkee and would welcome any details of that. I am particularly interested in the Memorial, which I understand as been set up.
