    Default Sgt G C Allenby RAFVR 1053554, 258 Sqn

Hi, as this young pilot is not listed on Henks unknowns I guess that the aircraft he was flying must be known - except to me !

Is anyone able to say which 258 Sqn aircraft he was flying when he was reported missing on 18th May 1941, he was only 18 years old. I presume crashed into the English Channel as this was before 258 Sqn was sent to the Far East and vertually wiped out.

No relation that I know, we photographed the entry on Runnymede and I would like to file the photograph correctly.

Many thanks is advance, regards Rich Allenby
