A - Died on active service:
    AC1 Harold B. HAWKINS - 1031160 - age 32; Peterborough dsitrict, Huntingdonshire
LAC Finton T. PENNEY - 79871 age 22 Westminster district, London spelled Fintan on register index
Cpl (WAAF) Sarah E. WILSON - 894014. Can't be certain here, no age given on CWGC, the youngest Sarah E Wilson is aged 43 in Q4 1942, Cirencester district Gloucestershire. There does not appear to be that name in Scotland.

A Sarah Elizabeth Wilson was born in Gateshead district, Durham in late 1899, early 1900, this district does have a place called Whickham in it. So I would suggest its our lady.

B - Not found in Flight archives:
LAC William McPHERSON - 1007266 - age 31. Name shows up in Logiealmond district, Perth, Scotland, aged 32. Nothing mnatching in England/Wales

    Hello

LAC Finton T. PENNEY - 79871 - the Chelsea News and General Advertiser of December 4th 1942 reported the following:

    FELL FROM MOVING TRAM
Aircraftman Fatally Injured at Vauxhall Brisdge Road
At Westminster Coroner's Court, Saturday, Mr. Bentley Purchase held an inquest on Leading Aircraftman Fintan Terence Penney (22), Royal Air Force, stationed in Cambridgeshire. Deceased, a native of Newfoundland, was fatally injured at Vauxhall Bridge Road, Westminster, and died in Westminster Hospital.
John Burlow, tram conductor, 97 Adare Walk, Streatham, said that about 1.40 p.m. on Monday, November 23rd, he was collected fares in his tram at Vauxhall Bridge Road, about 100 yards from the terminus at Victoria. Hearing a shout he looked up and saw deceased lying in the roadway. He had apparently fallen in alighting from the tram while it was moving.
Thoms William Sargent, 104 Green Walk, Crawford, said he was on the pavement outside Parnells. He saw deceased on the platform of the tram. A lorry was just behind the tram. In alighting deceased seemed to stumble [and] he fell in front of the lorry.

LAC William McPHERSON - 1007266 - the Stautory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 3.00 p.m. at 'Aerodrome, Methven Castle' due to a laceration of the skull and shock. The Graves Registration Report Form lists his unit as 44 M.U.

    Regards

    Simon

    Henk,
Thank you to Henks' family and friends, as i understand Henk has passed away. The Penney family want to extend warm thanks and appreciation for Henks' efforts to complete the records for Fintan T. PENNEY 798671, 157 Sqdn. My husband Fintan Penney was named after his fallen uncle. As a result of Henks query a response with details was received in 2018.

    Sincerely,
    The Penney family.
