    Hi All,

Can anyone tell me how this man died please? he is recorded as being with 93 Sq (Spitfires) and having been killed in action at Anzio Beach head on 12th April 1944. He is buried in the war cemetery there .

    Help as always greatly appreciated.

PS. Meant to post this airman seperately, cold weather affecting brain, sorry!

Just found a few aditional notes which may help this one.

The squadron were based at Lago with Spitfire MK IXs flying fighter patrols.
Typical squadron Spit was MA serial with codes HN Eg. MA636 HN-N.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Regards
    Dave.
