    According to the 2nd ed of A-B's BA-BZ serials:

    15OTU/37/215/36
    Crashed 30.4.44; NFD.

    Errol,

    Most helpful, as usual.

    I have a report that states 624 Sqn Halifax II JP253, crashed on landing at Blida on 30-6-1944 (0240 hrs.), striking Wellington IC BB470 in the process. Looks as if BB470 may have been wrecked earlier, and parked off runway.
