    Default LAC SAN Peiris

    Thank you Ross,
I have been trying to find detail for Noel Peiris for many years. He came from Ceylon under the BCATP and flew with 130 sqn.
I wish to know his service number and full name please.
    Thank you,
    Roy

    Default Gold dust

    Sincere thanks for that Ross.
The entire batch of airmen from Ceylon came on the SS Exeter on 28-9-41 and appear to have service numbers in the VR 13969-- batch.
    Thank you.

    Hello

LAC JOSEPH F. MERRISON - 928709 - the Register of Burials at Caister records that he and his wife Gladys Merrison died at "14 Higham Place." Possibly Highland Street, Great Yarmouth...?

F/O (Pilot/Instr.) Thomas OWEN-JONES - 108573 - the Western Daily Press of December 29th 1942 reported him "killed in action." The Graves Registration Report Form lists his unit as 16 E.F.T.S.

    Regards

    Simon
