    150 Sqn, Lost on the same Budapest raid. Shot down at Dunaharaszti, Hungary. All killed and buried in Budapest War Cemetery.

    Thanks once again. The NAA quote the serial for Shearer's Wellington as, 'LJ811', a Stirling IV!

    Lost the thread completely on Wellington losses Balkan 25/26-6-1944. I've on file:

    LN958 - 37 Sqn - EASSIE - McCLURG - LOWING - PETTIT - SCOTT - HINE.

    ME875 - 37 Sqn - MANDER - GRINDLE - AMEY - JONES, E. - JONES, L.R.

    LN748 - 142 Sqn - SCHOFIELD - THOMPSON - McKNIGHT - NELSON - and ?????.

    LP249 - 150 Sqn - SHEARER - CHAPLIN - REED - JACKSON - MURRAY.

    LN811 - 150 Sqn - McANENEY - SPARROW - BELL - HUM - and ?????

    Looking also for number 5 crew on LN748 and LN811, one of them was JEACOCKE.

    Please confirm and/or correct.

    Jeacocke completes the crew of LN911 and Sgt J Robertson RCAF (pow) the crew of LN748. I presume you know of the other loss, that of LP228 of 70 Sqn?

    All buried Budapest War Cemetery. (Hiskins Grave II.A.6., the others, Coll. Grave II.A.7-10.)
