    Default Crash of 4 engine Bomber at Rotenberg (Odenwald District)

    Hello,
    due anybody have information about a 4 engine bomber crash at Rotenberg in the Odenward district near the City Beerfelden?
    crash time: 1944
    crew status: presumably 6 KIA 1 POW
    maibe it can be also a US- Bomber?!?!

    Are you sure about the year. On the night of 8/04/45 a 35sqdn Lancaster NG440 TL-C, on ops to Hamburg, hit by flak and crashed near Rotenburg, 6 killed, 1 died of injuries and 1 pow.
    S/Ldr M.M.V.L. Muller, killed.
    F/Sgt A.C. Barr, killed.
    F/Lt H. Cobb, DFM, killed.
    F/Lt P.B.O. Ranalow, injured, died later.
    F/O J.L. Vickery, killed.
    F/O T.B. Robinson, killed.
    F/O R.C. Webster, killed.
    F/Sgt C. Wilce, DFM, pow.

    Hello Chorley,
    Rotenburg is far from Rotenberg, Rotenberg is biside of the Neckar River near the City Heidelberg and Eberbach.
    Rotenburg is near by 130 km far from Rotenberg.
