Default F/O J.P. Fahey, 226 Squadron, Hartford Bridge

My father was here from 31st March - end August [last Sortie 28th] 1944. His regular crew was: Hollingshead, Ross, Normand.

I would be grateful for any comments or detail [contained in diaries and/or log books] which might throw some personal light on his time there.

I have National Archive copies of the Operations Record Book pages for that period and can do look-ups.

Many thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

    Susan

    Default 226 Squad. Hollingshead

    Hi,
My Uncle (Gordon H Hollingshead ) Was in 226 from 1943- till end of war. He is alive, if you have any questions
I could ask him. He was with the RCAF but was assigned to 226 on arrival. Was a P/O in 43, My brother
had taken down a lot of info several years ago, myself I am just getting started in researching his time in England.
He had quite a number of pictures of his crews but they may be hard to find. I persume this is the Hollingshead
he flew with as our name is not that common
    truly, Gena Hollingshead
