    Hi Henk,

Found two misfiled F1180s one is an alternative for N7226 and the other is a new one for T9322

The alternative N7226 has more detail than the rather blank card in the main reel.
    N7226
    3 killed 1 injured
Pilot Sgt C Ring - Killed
A/c crashed and caught fire shortly after take off

    T9322
    4 killed 0 injured
    Pilot P/O G J T Snoxell - Killed
    Engine failed on take off

On balance I would go with the pilots given and numbers of those killed on these alternative cards rather than the 4 previously listed for N7226

    Regards
    Ross

    Ross,
    Sofar I had on file:
N7226 - besides SNOXELL - and all three registered at Wigton, Cumbria:
Sgt (Nav) Gregor S. McGREGOR - 1388869, and
    Sgt (WOp/Ag) Walter J. HAYWARD - 1211260.
    T9322 - besides RING:
    Sgt (Pilot) Douglas W. SANDERSON - 942817;
    F/Sgt (Nav/Ba) Franklin C. ZURBRIGG - RCAF R/116656 (confirmed by Allison on T9322), and
    W/OČ (WOp/Ag) Joseph L.G. BELANGER - RCAF R/73758 (confirmed by Allison on T9322).

What were the places of death registration for Sanderson, Zurbrigg and Belanger ?

    Regards,
    Henk.

    Hi Henk,

Belanger and Zurbrigg both on the same page of Wigton register Page 750
Sanderson Snoxell, Ring Hayward and McGregor all on Wigton Page 749

So no clue there. They are all in the same register and on adjacent pages.

So far I would best guess
    N7226
    Ring

    T9322
    Snoxell
    Belanger
    Zurbrigg

Leave Sanderson floating but possibly T9322
    McGregor and Hayward possibly N7226

    Regards
    Ross

D W Sanderson was my uncle in your post and his remains are in a family grave in a cemetery called Abbey Lane in Sheffield. All his siblings are now gone bu some nieces and nephews still around.
