    Looking for info on the death of F/Lt H.G. NEWMAN - 62087, buried Capuccini (Naval) Cemetery, Malta.

    Thanks Malcolm. May have been DOAS or 'non flying' accident. CWGC only has his initials, do you know full first name ?

    Default F/Lt Newman

    Hi Henk

    F/Lt Newman was employed as a Clerk, and was serving with Air Headquarters Malta. He was admitted to No 90 General Military Hospital at Imtarfa on the 21st November, 1942 seriously ill with diphtheria, and died on the 14th January, 1943.
