Thanks Alan; F/O WILSON may have been on the Mustang as his registration was in Ruthin what is in Denbighshire.

Ruthin was in Denbighshire up to 1974 when the Welsh Counties were reshaped and given names that better reflected the Welsh language.Denbighshire became incorporated in the modern county of Clwyd.

Just for confirmation, Wilson was with No.41 OTU when he was killed, February 14th 1943, “P/O Wilson (68 Course) killed in a flying accident.”

S/Ldr Herbert E. ORMOND - 84174 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at the Royal West Sussex Hospital, Chichester. A biography on ancestry.co.uk records that he was Acting Chief Controller at Tangmere.
