    death is registered at Cirencester and he is buried at nearby Sapperton. I have a note of Hudson FK756, 10 MU which crashed at Tarlton Farm whilst on approach to Kemble.

    DaveW,

    That is most interesting. The other airman I have not been able to place on 23-7-1943 is;
    1344005 F/Sgt (Pilot) Hugh Douglas BRYSON RAFVR. He also was killed on active service.

    Bryson may not be connected with the death of Niemeyer, at all. Could you tell me where Bryson's death was registered?

    Looking promising, Thanks.

    Col.

    Dennis,

    Thanks for that.

    I can now eliminate Bryson from the mix!

    Col,
    NIEMEYER and FK756 also in my files. Have no name unaccounted for on this date or it must have been AC1 Reginald H. CULLERN - 1084803 (not found in Flight Magazine) whose death was registered at Battersea, London.
    Another possibility is that the second casualty died of wounds at a later date.
    Regards,
    Henk.
