    Default Two Tiger Moth losses, Feb-Mar 1940

    Hello, I am searching the crash location of the two following pilots of 10 EFTS:

    Sgt Robert Hughes Innes Scott-Kerr, RAF(VR) 748592 (of Irish Republic), was killed 30th March 1940, flying Tiger Moth G-AESO.

    Sgt Gerald Breese, RAF(VR) 754722, was killed 23rd February 1940, flying Tiger Moth G-ADIC.

    Apparently they were both using "mobilized" Tiger Moth that had not yet received RAF serials, and probably never did.

    Any extra details will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    The two aircraft's UK Civil registration histories:

    http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/HistoricalMaterial/G-AESO.pdf
    http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/HistoricalMaterial/G-ADIC.pdf

    Not much else there othe than G-ADIC was cancelled from the register dated 30/10/1940.

    Impressments Log Volume II (Moss) published by Air-Britain about 40 years ago has the following locations;

    G-AESO stalled and dived vertically into the ground two miles NE Avebury

    G-ADIC failed to recover from a practice side-slip and spun into the ground at Littlewick Green, Berkshire

    G-AESO listed as 10 EFTS and G-ADIC as 13 EFTS

    Thanks Dennis and Ian

    I checked my files and I have G-ADIC listed as 13 EFTS too, for for some reason sea a "10" when I wrote my post.

    Best regards
