CWGC has Nellie Carlton also:
of Woodlands, Way Lane, Waterbeach, Cambridge. Daughter of Harold, and of the late Sarah Mitchell; wife of L.A.C. Norman Carlton, R.A.F. (killed in same incident). Died at 25 Chapel Street.

There are a number of casualties for this date in that district as listed in CWGC. A hit and run raid it appears from googling.

Cpl Norman D. CARLTON - 1262795 - the Dover Express of April 16th 1943 carried the following announcement:

CARLTON - In April, 1943, by enemy action, Norman Carlton, R.A.F., and his wife, dearly loved nephew and niece of Mrs. C. H. Baker, of 52, Elms Vale Road, Dover.

With regards to the deaths of six airmen on this day I have received clarification on their causes from Air Historic Branch as follows:-

Sunderland Mk. II, W6001, No. 4 {Coastal} Operational Training Unit, No. 17 Group, Coastal Command, which sank at 05.25 hours, after its mooring attachments were torn out and it broke away during exceptionally violent winds at Invergordon Moorings, Alness, on 7^th April 1943
The crew aboard this aircraft were:-
F/O Richard Jack DUNFORD 124945 RAF(VR) †
Sgt John William BURROWS 1315874 RAF(VR) †
LAC Francis William DUMMIGAN 1501094 RAF(VR) †


Catalina I, AH568, No. 4 {C} OTU, No. 17 Group, Coastal Command, which sank at the same time, at the same moorings, during a gale on the same day.
The crew aboard this aircraft were:-
Sgt Norman Kenneth CAREW 1273307 RAF(VR) †
Sgt Edwin HAVRON 1276189 RAF(VR) †


The sixth death that day was W/O Leslie David JONES 580204 RAF
He was killed in an accident on 7^th April 1943 at Alness Railway Station when struck by a train.

W/O Jones was posted to 4(C)OTU and had previously served on 201 Squadron. He was a Navigator who had been aboard Sunderland N6138 for the dog fight with a Dornier 215 on the 2nd August 1940.

A few of the databases on here will need amending.
