RAF REGT CHAPEL ANNUAL COMMEMORATION SERVICE – 8 MAY 10
The Annual Service of Commemoration of the RAF Regt Chapel will take place on Sat 8 May 10, at 16.00, in St Anne’s Church, Catterick Village. The CG and Assoc President, Air Cdre Russ La Forte, will attend, as will Baroness Harris of Richmond. It will be followed, weather permitting, by a March Past of members and Branch Standards, led by the Assoc’s National Standard, at approx 16.45. A Reception will then be held at the Catterick Village Social Club, which will then extend into a Social Evening. The Service has historically taken place at the end of the normal Service but, since few members of the Assoc appear to take Communion and the form of worship at St Anne’s Church was unfamiliar to many, it was agreed that the Assoc would hold a bespoke Service in the Church and Chapel on the Saturday afternoon, though it is hoped that a good number of Assoc members will wish to take part in the normal Sunday service in the Church.

Individual members and/or Branch Secs are asked to contact the Branch Sec of the Catterick Branch (Mr Derek James, Email: dtjames2@tiscali.co.uk ; Tel: 01748 832025)
