    Default Link webzite czech pilots

    Gentlemen,

There used to be a website about Czech pilots but the following link seems to be dead:

    http://www.tmavomodrysvet.cz/new/index2.htm

Does anyone has an updated link or isn't this website online anymore?

    Thanks in advance,
    Hans Nauta

    Hi Hans,

this was a site of the Dark Blue World movie. As the film is several years old I suppose they closed the website as there is now only brief info at http://www.sverak.cz/en/films/dark-blue-world and the link Official Movie Website is not working.

If there is anything I can help please feel free to contact me off-board

    Hello Pavel,

Thanks for your reply. Actually I wanted to check the full names, date of birth and service numbers of some pilots of 312 Squadron:

    Sgt V. Stanc
    F/Sgt J. Perina
    F/Lt K. Posta

    Apart from that I'm after the individual codes of Spitfires ML154, ML174, ML212, ML230, ML261, ML263, ML339, ML364 and MK694.

Concerned Spitfires and pilots were involved in two events over my research area, hence my specific interest.

I'm pretty sure that the website did mention full names, dates of birth and service numbers, I can't remember if there were individual codes too.

Anyway Pavel, if you would be able to help me out withthis matter I would be very grateful!

    Best wishes,
    Hans Nauta

    Hi Hans,

I see that chaps already help you with the pilots:-)
About the Spitfires - all of them were with the 312 Sq?
I have only list of Spitfires for which I was able to find out the individual letter and from your list I have there only one: Spitfire HF IXC MK694 RY-E but with 313 Sq...

    Hello Pavel,

Yes, all mentioned Spitfires flew with 312 Squadron. If you're interested I can provide a few pages from the ORB.
