    Default Loss Blenheim IV T2220

    Hello,

    In the cemetery Plurien (North-East Lamballe, Brittany) the body of Pilot Officer. KERR, THOMAS.
    The two others, Sgt. Fletcher and Sgt. HINE have their names on the wall RUNNYMEDE MEMORIAL.
    We know nothing of the mission of the Blenheim IV T2220, the circumstances of the loss, instead.
    I am looking for help. ORB ? of 59 Sqdn.
    Loss 6 June 1941.

    Hi Dan
    From a book,"The Bristol Blenheim" by Graham Warner,it is recorded that T2220 was shot down attacking shipping off Normandy with the loss of all on board.However Warner gives the date as 03/06/41.The crew were as you have them and clearly only the body of the pilot, Kerr, was recovered
    The different dates may be simply a reflection of the length of time it took for Kerr's body to come ashore
