    Anyone have information (citation) for Buley's DFM and what unit he was serving with?

    Hi Tom,

    210 Squadron and he evidently flew with Van Der Kiste also. I'm afraid LG and Flight do not give the citation, but somebody with a copy of Tavender's DFM register can hopefully rustle it up for you.

    210 Sq.

    DFM for:
    1) 2/9/39 obtaining wireless bearings on previously unused & uncalibrated wavelengths after Navigator lost his way
    2)12/4/40 entering wing of Sunderland to try to plug leak caused by flak and checking on state of other tanks
    3) Whole crew violently air sick, in spite of this dismantled faulty W/T receiver and repaired it to get fix
    4) Volunteered to try to fit leak-stopper
    5) 29/4/41 'maintained continuous and well directed fire against a surface vessel which engaged the a/c
