What caused the death of F/O (Pilot) Charles W. FURSE - 70233 - killed on active service (Flight Global), buried Nottingham Soutern Cem., W.Bridgford, Nottinghamshire (UK1847).

Proposed aircraft losses for this day:

(for this aircraft already have as a casualty: P/O Stanley P. LODGE - 77308)

    Hi Henk
The death of a Charles W Furse ,26,is registered at Hitchin Hertfordshire in the 3rd Qtr of 1940, which would seem to point to the Magister

    Hi Paul
"Dick - To confirm is P/O Stanley P. LODGE the next name on the same register?" The simple answer is no but I do use Ancestry.co.uk where the register viewed is purely alphabetical and an"L" would be on a totally different page. The pages are what you get if you used the books in Middleton Place in Islington.
On the appropriate page for the Name there is a Stanley P Lodge age 22 registered at Hitchin
    Regards
    Dick
