    Default Mervin Richard Talbot

    Hi all,

    I'm looking for any information concerning Mervin Richard Talbot, who earned the DFC in the RCAF during WWII.

    He survived the war.

    Unfortunately, I have no more information.

    Default Medal winners

    Its a bit of a rigmarole but you might find something about him in the London Gazette online even if its just a line saying that he was awarded the DFC..
    Was he a family member? If so any stories that you would care to relate?

    I new Mervin Richard Talbot. "Dick" as we knew him, flew with my Father while on RCAF Sqn. 408 out of Rockliffe. How do you know of Dick?

    Fox, Here is his DFC entry from the LG:
    Air Ministry, 7th December, 1945.
    The KING has been graciously pleased to approve the following awards:
    ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE.
    Distinguished Flying Cross.
    Flying Officers.
    Mervyn Richard TALBOT (Can/J.90135), 150 Sqn.
    The above awards are in recognition of gallantry and devotion to duty in the execution of air operations.
