    Default RFC RAF Wings Question

I have been told that RFC pilots who remained in service after the transition to the RAF were allowed to continue wear their RFC wings.
    Is this correct? Thanks

    Default

    Yes.

Indeed, it was several months before a standard RAF uniform was agreed upon. In the meantime, old uniforms were worn. There is a much-published photograph of No.203 Squadron, taken about October 1918, with the CO (Raymond Collishaw) still wearing RNAS blues; others are in RNAS summer khaki, RFC maternity jackets, and various army regimental uniforms with flying badges.
