    Default Identification of aircraft

I am trying to identify the following 3 aircraft from the partial serials I have.
All were used by 127 Sqn in the Western desert as communication aircraft.
    All I have is
    Magister 2435
    Magister 2453
    Blenheim 7542

    Regards

    Hi Andy
Air Britain P-Serials gives P2453 as a Magister used by CF Heliopolis/267/127 S.O.C 31.5.45. They don't give dates of transfer between units. The same book has P2435 as a Magister but has it as lost in France in 1940 with AAF.

Well the Blenheim must be Blenheim Mk.IV Z7542 as that is the only 7542 that was a Blenheim. It is in the Z7271 to Z8323 block built by Rootes Securities.

    Default Identification of Aircraft

    Thanks Dick
Both numbers I quoted were logged in the same log book and I suspected 1 was a 'typo' error.
    Thanks for solving that one.
    Thanks Alan
However I had looked in RAF Aircraft Serials and Z7542 apears not to have been allocated as it does not apear in the list.
