    Default Tiger Moth II DE303

    Hello,

Could someone provide me with a full service history of Tiger Moth II DE303, from A-B Serials?

    Thanks,

    Col.

    Henk,

Thanks for that. I had two locations, Bampton, with no County stated, and Hampton, Berkshire!

    I now have:

    11-3-1944
    No.297 Sqn, Stoney Cross
    Tiger Moth II DE303

Hit ground during aerobatics, 2m S of Bampton, Oxfordshire.

64299 F/Lt (Pilot) Clement Hugh Lawton JAMES* RAFVR +
    AUS404024 P/O ( - ? - ) Charles Carrol BRADLEY RAAF + (twice MID)

    * James' unit incorrectly listed on CWGC as 97 Sqn.

Thanks Col, again two names deleted. Both airmen indeed were on my 'unaccounted' list. Won't send a PM to CWGC as for sure they will ask me for proof to show JAMES was 297 Sqn in lieu of 97 Sqn (and I don't have).
    Regards,
    Henk.

    Henk,

Bill Chorley also had James listed as No.97 Sqn, BCL9/338. Made Bill aware of the error ages ago.
