    Default 226 Squadron Deaths 1940

    Hello folks,

might I ask what might have caused the deaths of

Sgt Peter F Morris 754457 Pilot - Killed on Active Service
Sgt James McMaster 552682 W/Op/AG Died of wounds or injuries received on active service.

    on 23 October 1940.

Both are buried in Belfast City Cemetery and 226 Sqd was stationed in Northern Ireland in 1940 for some time.

    Cheers

    Dennis

That'll most likely be it Col, Morris' date of death is 22 Oct on CWGC, I was only half reading things.

Great stuff, thanks for the reply.
