Is it possible that ND520 was shot down by Hptm Ludwig Meister of 1./NJG4; crashed Le Thoule, 22 km W of Rethel, Aisne, 20.55 hrs.
JA941 may have crashed near Seelbach, SE of Lahr, Black Forest, shot down by a night fighter at 19,000 ft. No claim in my files.
    Regards,
    Henk.

    Hi Henk and John,

Thanks for your replies, and Henk, these are the details on the three claims by Meister on 25-26.2.44, and the matching Bomber Command losses:

    Hptm. Ludwig Meister: 30 1./NJG4 Lancaster Béthanicourt, 25 km. W. Rethel 20.55 44 Sqn Lancaster ND520
    Hptm. Ludwig Meister: 31 1./NJG4 Lancaster Menil-Annelles, 13 km. S.E. Rethel 20.59 61 Sqn Lancaster DV294
    Hptm. Ludwig Meister: 32 1./NJG4 Lancaster 2 km. S.S.W. Vouziers 21.14 463 Sqn Lancaster DV274

    Cheers, Theo
