Default 158797 F/O Reginald james Bassett

Hi, I am trying to research F/O RJ Bassett and his RAF career, so far I have discovered:

    904321 F/Sgt promoted to P/O GD branch 24 Sep 1943
    Promoted F/O (GD)24 Mar 1944
    Promoted F/Lt (GD)24 Sep 1945

As far as I know he served as an air gunner in blenheims, any ideas as to how i might find out which squadron he served with?

    Cheers,
    Rick

For what it's worth, this chap seems to be the earliest casualty with a similar Non Comm Service Number:
EDWARDS RC 904369 24 SQDN 21/03/1940 ROYAL AIR FORCE VOLUNTEER RESERVE
To be a Sgt Pilot in March 1940 at Hucknall, would indicate that he is pre war to have got promoted to Sgt, hope that may be some help?
