    Hi Ron,
I believe George Swanwick is still around and possibly J S Hart in Canada.
As far as I am aware these are the only two remaining from the BoB period.
Is your great uncle still around, he must have some great stories.
    Best wishes

    Default great uncle 54 sqad

no unfortunatley, he passed away 4 years ago before i could find out more info, he told me he went after the battle of britain, he did his air gunnery trainind at kinloss (where he met his wife) and transfered to sunderland flying boats where he became a rear gunner, im unshore of the sqad he was with still trying to find out but aint easy with out his service record number, i did manage to tell him that i also did some voluntary work on a spitfire that needed some attention doing to, at stoke on trent i also gave him a lager framed picture of a mk 2a spitfire which he pleased about, many thanks. ron.
