Default Dominie No. 2 SS 30.11.40

    Hi all,

would be possible to get any details like pilot, crew and serial of Dominie which was on a training flight with W/O cadets on 30.11.1940 and was forced to land? According to not dated memories (I do not know if the reminiscence fits just to this case) one engine was in fire and was extinguished by the ground crew after landing...

    TIA

Air Britian Dominie File may provide answer.. Though you would need toi read through individual histories.. A Unit would help narrow down

I do noit have access to my copy at present and will not for forseeable future

Hi Paul, thanks for idea - I have these books but I think I will be able to get only planes serving with the unit without any date. And such a small accident will be not mentioned there I think if the plane was not burned down.

I think it would be mentioned the Individual Histories are quite detailed, with dates of accident, transfers etc..

    I think good chance

I am very sorr Paul, it is my misreading - I was thinking about the RAF serials, not Dominie file which I have not - and also toatlly forget that such a book is available!

So I hope anyone would be so kind and can check it for me.

    Hi Paul,

my "man"who I hoped have the book you mentioned has only Battles not Dominie.

May I ask you to check your copy when possible as it looks like you are the only one who has access to this book.

The unit is No. 2 Signal School, Yatesbury.

    Many thanks in advance
