    Default RAF Atcham

Why would the RAF Atcham ORB comment on a flying accident by a Squadron based at High Ercall in early 1943? Was Atcham the Sector HQ?

    Thanks

    Hi Steve,

    how the things are going?
I have no positive answer for you but...
If you check the Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAF_Atcham

Atcham was transferred to the United States Army Air Force Eighth Air Force on 15 June 1942.

So I suppose there was still some RAF staff at the station but to be honest it is quite interesting what is written in the station ORB? There were no RAF unit so why there is an ORB?

There are Atcham ORB entries until at least 20 Oct 1943.
