    Default RAF 907/8 Sqdn WW2

My father was in the RAF during the war and, in November 1944, was released from the R.A.F. under provs. of Section 6 (2) Act 1937 before an actual class "A" release in October 1945. He had enlisted in 1938 before war actually broke out.
Has anyone any idea what this act was please?
    thanks

I wonder if it was something to do with the Reserve Air Force I believe it was formed about that time.... Not certain but the war office had an act put on the statute books at that time see http://www.questia.com/PM.qst?a=o&docId=24579738 though its not very informative. Reserve members of the service would have been disestablished from service quicker than those who were regulars.
Might be worth getting his service record through this link: http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/AboutDefence/WhatWeDo/Personnel/ServiceRecords/MakingARequestForInformationHeldOnThePersonnelReco rdsOfDeceasedServicePersonnel.htm
