Default Kinloss station WW2 ORB in Kew ?

    hello,

I'm looking for the reference at TNA, Kew, of Kinloss station for WW2 (more precisely september 1942). I've searched the online catalogue but couldn't find it where it should have been, following alphabetical order (AIR 28/426). There are others refererences from AIR 28/1231 onwards, but these are from 1950 to 1955.

Can someone enlighten me with this elusive ORB ? Or should I look in a different set of records ?

    TIA

    Joss

Try 19 OTU. Sorry, I don't have the NA ref to hand.

    hello Dave,

Thanks for the tip. No problem for this OTU ORB reference, I have it at home, or if not, easy to find. I'll try that.

    Cheers

AIR 29/662 and 663 for 19 OTU, they both cover the same dates, I presume that the latter is the file of misc papers which are usually not of much interest.

The first reference is for the main day to day entries, I had it out today to copy a few crash related entries. As it contained what I wanted I ddin't get out the other file.

I think 663 may be the file of pictures for all the variious courses that passed through there.

They would make up some of it, the rest would be registers of people on the course and misc documentation. I tend not to find the additional files to be that useful unless I am after crew photos.
