    Default full names of two 419 sqdn crewmembers

    Hi all,

    I was hoping that somebody could tell me the full names of the two RAF crewmembers who were on board of Halifax W7817 of 419 squadron RCAF which crashed near my hometown May 5 ,1943 (1 KIA, 6 POW).
    The two men were:

    P/O D.Grimshaw- service number 131904 - POW nr.1265
    Sgt. N.M. Douglas - service number 150737 - POW nr. 1126

    Serial number from Ross's lists is 131904

    Grimshaw's 1st name was Donald according to info supplied by Oliver Clutton Brock. I have some other info about a previous op this crew took part in. I have sent you a private message.

    From birth records on freebmd.org.uk if he was from England or Wales then he is LIKELY to have been Norman M Douglas, beyond that I can't be of much more help.
