    Default Bomber command 106 squadron

    Hi,

The link below shows a photo of a plaque that was my Grandfathers. I hope I am correct it saying it is the badge for squadron 106? I am wondering if anyone knows what this plaque might have come off, it looks to me as though it was originally attached to something. Also where might I find information on who was in bomber squadron 106?

    Thank you

    Default 106 sqn

Yes that is the crest of 106 sqn RAF Bomber Command. May I ask your Grandad's name?
Depending on what sort of info you require, ops records sqns are at AIR27 national archives uk as are station record books. Recommend you aquire your Granddad's service record from RAF Cranwell (see their website).

Any more qs send me a private message.

    Peter
