    Default Losses Fleet Air Arm

    Hello,

I'm looking for loss of the Fleet Air Arm 3 and 4 May 1942.
Where can you find the reports of missions, I'm not used to this kind of research with the loss of the Royal Navy.
    Cordialement,
    Regards,
    Mit freundlichem Gruß,

    Dan

    Dan,

Sturtivant's 'Fleet Air Arm Aircraft 1939 to 1945' records the histories of FAA aircraft for this period, including fate of aircraft and crew. Unfortunately the information is displayed in order of aircraft type then by serial, not by date. So you may need to do some hunting to find the particular losses you are interested in.

If the crew were killed then another good place to start is:

these names can be cross referenced with Sturtivant.

And if they were made prisoner then this is a good list of FAA POWs. Sadly iit is organised by name so one has to go through the list. Again the names can then be cross referenced with Sturtivant:
