    Default What was a "Weasel"?

In 35 Wing HQ ORB there is an entry... "20/5/45.... One "Weasel" airborne 10.50 - photos of Hanover"

And David GH in his logbook writes... "Practise for Monday’s display for VVIPs. Hang ups 268 Weasels, 4 Squadron and 2 Squadron Frigo Threefold

    Any ideas?? Cheers Motherbird

    Hello motherbird,

Just a thought: could Weasel be a nickname for 268 Squadron pilots or their Mustangs?

Colin Ford as 268 specialist should know. He regularly visits this forum, so perhaps he picks up this thread. Otherwise you can send him a PM.

    Good luck,

    Hans

I don't think that Colin will be checking in again until the beginning of October.
