    Default Welcome to the Board

Great to read your link - had to drag out some of my Spanish from years ago to understand it but got the guts of it. I too have an interest in Sunderlands from 228 Squadron - see my website www.freewebs.com/dw110 also out of Pembroke Dock. Sad they lost the Vino and Brandy as well as all the other goods that we in Uk were so deperate for, still that was War time something we pray the younger generation will never have to go through.

Sunderlands in the Berlin Airlift. That's the first time i've seen that piece of film and it's barmy 'sixpence' song since I watched in the local flea pit... In 1948!...frightening that.

    Best Wishes.

    Default Sunderlands on UTube

There are heaps of clips of the Sunderlands on UTube, I have links to some on my website but they seem to pop up daily, all interesting viewing to see what the crews did and went through.
