Default 11.09.40 Hurricanes and He 111 Incident

On 11 September 1940 a Heinkel 111 was hit by AA fire over London and lost an engine; it was attacked by two Hurricanes and forced to land in the village of Hildenborough, Kent. The crew tried to set fire to it; Two crew members were captured unhurt and two were wounded.

The combat report of Pilot Officer William Blair Pattullo described how he and Flight Lieut Denis Parnall, both of 249 Squadron, shot down the Heinkel shortly before 4pm. Pattullo saw three of the crew scramble out.

Sadly both RAF pilots were killed soon afterwards.

The downed plane was a Heinkel 111 HS from 3 Staffel? with a crew named as Steinbecke, Hirsch, Kramer, Pfeiffer and Puempell?

Looking for info on the German Crew to complete my write up on the incident.
