Default Type of .303 Ammunition in Air Combat Report

    Hello,

After following the excellent advice posted on this forum some time ago, I searched the air combat reports database at the NA and found a pertinent report. Part of it was rather hard to read, but I think it said, 'Our rear gunner fired a 4/5 second burst of G.IV Tracer'
Can any armaments experts confirm that I have the correct designation for the tracer?

    Thanks for your help,

    Sam
