    Default WAAF Casualties

    Hi,

I am trying to discover the place of death of two WW2 WAAF who served in Bomber Command both are listed on the Scottish War Memorial.

    http://www.snwm.org/cgi-bin/db_w2.pl

I believe both died in Scotland ? (I can't see any England/Wales listing)

    2041172 ACW1 Jean LAWRENCE 6/11/1943 Buried Banbury
    2118448 ACW1 Annie LAWRIE 11/7/1945 Age 21 Buried Kirkintilloch

    TIA

    Thanks Alan

Jean Lawrence is listed in Chorleys Bomber Command ROH as serving with 12 O.T.U so I think it more likely she died in England, although I couldn't find any details ?

    Thanks again

Jean LAURENCE (as spelt in register) registered final quarter of 1943 in Birmingham aged 22.

    Cheers, Tom
