    Hello,

I received it today too, but the information had been released on another messageboard a couple of weeks ago.

Quickly translated into : I have the regret to inform you that my husband Régis Decobeck passed away on 28 August, at the end of the day, while he was in the home of our daughter Tatiana. I've just retrieved your respective e-mail addresses and would appreciate you not to write to his mail box any more, as we don't have any access to it. Thank your for your understanding.

    Dear All,
Regis and I worked on a research problem of mutual interest some years ago. Nice, considerate, guy.

    Like Peter,

I too had contact with Regis some years ago and found him very friendly and helpful. I was not aware that he was ill and it is very sad to learn of his passing.

    Hello Alan,

To get a basic idea of translations use the google Translation page - just type in translation in google and it is usually the first item up. Then cut and paste into the box.

I echo earlier comments, having had much to do with Régis on events concerning 41 Squadron aircraft that had come down in Belgium. I am sad to learn of his passing; he was a lovely chap to deal with.
